MENE MAN has had the pleasure of working at highly prestigious events such as WOMAD, Glastonbury's 3^rd main stage with Vitamin X 96, Stadt Halle (HAMBURG Germany), The Marseille Music Festival (southern France)  and The Rose of Tralee Festival (Southern Ireland).

Born in England this is where his career in music began in 1977, from sitting on the stairs at home with his family singing along to gospel songs he found his passion for music.

In 1978 MENE MAN was asked to substitute for a drummer of his primary school band. Although he had never played the drums before, MENE MAN felt confident in his abilities so accepted the challenge. During the time spent with this band, MENE MAN found himself to be a natural at the sticks; both his confidence and his love for music grew day by day. MENE MAN stayed with his primary school steel band until the age of 14.

In 1981 MENE MAN’S passion for entertaining led him to rapping and singing with various reggae sound systems in England. This helped him to further develop and increase his experience as an entertainer. During this period he also performed as supporting artist to big reggae names such as Maxi priest, tippa Irie, Eeka Mouse, David Rodigan, Nitty Gritty, Early B, Cutty Ranks and Killamanjaro.

In 1991 due to his increased popularity as drummer, rapper and singer MENE MAN embarked upon a professional career back with his old band and the Roots Imention, successfully touring countries such as England, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.

After impressing an appreciative audience in Marseille (Southern France), being backed by a band he had only just met. The relationship went further as MENE MAN went on to be the lead singer of the German based band Vitamin X. In the time spent with this band MENE MAN was able to further his professionalism on stage as this band had some exceptional Musicians.

Since featuring on two CD albums 'ONE VOICE' and 'SOUL NATIVE' MENE MAN came back to England to get more time to work in the studio and finish off recording his latest tracks with his own studio setup; he now performs his own compositions with various backing bands and is still reeling out the dub plates for various sound systems and djs in his home town and abroad.
